Itachi Uchiha (うちはイタチ, Uchiha Itachi) was a ninja of Konohagakure's Uchiha clan that served as an Anbu Captain. He later turned a global legal after murdering his complete clan, sparing solely his youthful brother, Sasuke. He afterwards joined the worldwide legal organisation often called Akatsuki, whose exercise introduced him into frequent battle with Konoha and its ninja — together with Sasuke — who sought to avenge their clan by killing Itachi.
